    Firmware 4.8.524431

Update: all seems to be working fine now....excellent...but I've no idea why. If it's due to the latest firmware updates then many thanks to the Wiim engineers. R

    Firmware 4.8.524431

I am trying to send you a screen recording (a movie) of the problems. The file is 1.38gb which is too large to send. Please supply me with another address so I can send it to you. Thanks, R

    Firmware 4.8.524431

After the last update I'm back to square one with both Mini and Pro. I've rebooted the Mac, the router and both Wiims (they play the test tune OK). Airplay control panel sometimes picks them up and selecting them can cause the icons to turn blue for a brief moment. Apple Music control panel may...

    Firmware 4.8.524431

OK, I apologise; since the last firmware update I too, again, have needed to do a hard reboot on both Mini and Pro. I then have to spend another 10 mins or so to get the M2 Mac AND Apple Music to recognise and link. I feel it should have been fixed by now.

I had to do that too. It seems better after the last update.

Airplay not working from Mac M1 to Wiim Mini

Sorry to hear about your problems. I have a M2 MacMini and a Wiim Pro connected via ethernet and a Wiim mini connected via Wireless. Both work; (so I 'm not going to be able to help you much am I - but just to say it CAN work). I use Apple Music. I'm sure you've done it but have you tried to...

Deleting a device from the wiim app

The Wiim Pro is connected to the internet via ethernet, the mini by wireless. The router is a British Telecom SmartHub (hence BT and not Bluetooth (bt)). Thanks.

Deleting a device from the wiim app

"Strange. There is no bottom line "forget this device" on the first screen after "fix it"?" That's right - nothing...!

Deleting a device from the wiim app

Thanks for the prompt reply - but I still can't delete it. 1. I press on Wiim Mini E636/Let's fix it icon (the device I no longer have). 2. It then takes me to a page re my BT router (a BT Smart hub), which I've already fixed. 3. I press 'Done' and it takes me back to 1 (above)

Deleting a device from the wiim app

I have both the Mini and Pro versions. My original Wiim Mini was returned after a week as I assumed it was faulty, however, the name and model number still come up on the app with the 'unable to connect/let's fix it...' message. Surely there must be an easy option to 'forget this device' from...

Excellent WiiM app continues to crash on Silicon Mac

Yep, same here on a M2 macmini pro. App: 2.4.3 230 4074 Great - at last. Also, my Wiim Mini and Pro are now tethered and over the last 2 days I've found the network more stable - fewer occasions for me to restart the two (esp the mini). Getting there...
