ASR is not a safe place for people who can actually hear differences between cables. The Ultra has a C7 connector so I would advise to get an audiophile grade power cable for it. That really helps with reducing RF noise.

WIIM/Linkplay will never make just a poweramp. All products they make have streaming functionality, that is wat Linkplay is. There is a whole universe of amplification out there. You do not need to rely on WIIM to make it for you.

I believe it is going to be called WIIM AMP Pro Plus, so they are reserverving the ULTRA for yet another model (two TPA3255 chips in dual mono to drive big speakers. Just a suggestion.....)

Physical remotes are useful for volume and source and output selection. For other functions an app is better. Remotes with dozens of buttons from which it is totally unclear what they do is passé.

I am having a very hard time finding any DSD content. Certainly the stuff I am listening to is not available in DSD. It seems to be dead in the water apart from PSAudio/Octave records, but they have a limited collection. If you want DSD you seem to have to adapt your musical tastes.

Well just because the DAC is capable of DSD, does not mean it will be implemented. Since it is primarily a streamer and streaming is not offered in DSD, it makes no sense to spend resources and support time on DSD playback.
