I'm on 4.5.606344 and Airplay is unusable. Will drop out for 30 seconds at a time or not play at all...then work fine for minutes at a time. Tried multiple devices. Streaming music natively works great over wifi.

Newest wish…headless Wiim units with virtual dock mode for tablets or phones. Put device in a dock, magsafe or whatever, on power and have Wiim ”music playing” as screensaver/wallpaper. Probably doable with software now.

So, that looks like what I’d want out of a Wiim Display…drop a tablet into a charger on standby and have it show song/artist/bitrate/etc. this could obviate the need for a display altogether. Wiim, please do this. I can supply my own display.
