I've got a few DSD files (with DFF and DSF extension).
Using LMS with the DSD player plugin enabled, my Pro Plus plays them without external DAC.
During playing I see 1 bit, 2822.4 kHz both in the LMS interface and the Wiim app.
OK, then the file name has been changed by the conversion tool according to the tags.
If you want to convert the file names according to the tags in a custom way, you can use a free tool called mp3tag
https://www.mp3tag.de/en/download.html
In this tool you can use Convert - > Tag - Filename
I opened a ticket yesterday and this is Wiim reply
We've addressed this issue in the newest development version of the WiiM Home app. We encourage you to download the latest release once it's available and test it out.
Internet access of course is necessary, WiFi is not necessary.
With a smartphone with internet access via SIM card, I can stream to my wired Wiim Pro Plus using the Amazon music app with WiFi turned off.

A positive review ending with:
"Best budget streamer of 2023? The WiiM Pro Plus makes a very strong case for that indeed."
I have tried to connect from my Android phone and I got no message error. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled the Amazon Music app from my Android tablet and connected with no message error. It looks like it is not a firmware issue.
I have rebooted and cleared the cache. I get the same error message. After a second attempt, I get the same error message but at the same time it is displayed the message: Connected to Wiim Pro Plus and the connection works.
