Thanks for mentioning that possibility. I just submitted the same request through the in app feature request.

Without normalization, playing songs that are not part of the same record (i.e., random shuffle of a playlist) is a pain as the volume may be perceived too high or low from a single to an other. Volum normalization has already been ask and discussed for on this forum...
