I wonder if the WiiM Ultra and Wim Pro Amp will be a good fit for a total solution to plug my speakers in to? Are they even the same size? Are they even made to be used together?

So, the ULTRA obviously needs an amp to be of any use. The Amp Pro can run as an amp and a streamer. Gotcha. But does the Amp Pro not make the ULTRA a little redundant, unless you really want the screen? Is it in any other way better than the Amp Pro, sonically or in functionality? Personally...

The 200-2000 fr setting is me misunderstanding the Schroeder’s frequency approach. This is performed after running the RC. So I guess following your advice I should invert my selection to as low as possible - 200, listen and increase the increments, listen again… Will give it a go before...

Ran a couple of Schroeder’s frequency tests on my 5m x 4m room and it seems that I should cut off RC lower than around 180-200 hz, if I get it whole process right. Does that mean that the following is correct? Please see images.

Sounds a lot better here, too. I now get a noticeably fuller sound when Room Correction is turned on. Will have to listen a little longer to know if it hits the spot, but so far it sounds pretty great to me.

Just received this message from Wiim, in response to my reporting the "tinny" room correction: "The algorithm has been rolled back; please attempt to create the room again." Looking forward to trying anew later today. 🤠

Also getting a tinny, almost muffled, and bass-lacking sound. Sounds awful, really. Using mic on iPhone 14 Pro.

Simplicity in this space is certainly not easy to achieve. I started out wanting a sleek setup with just a power amp (stereo) and the Ultra. Now I am being told that I need to add yet another box in between my power amp(s) and the Ultra 🤣
