Correct but you have to do a bit of a hack to the tablet to install the the Google play store to load Android apps onto the fire tablet.

I wholeheartedly agree, I just got my first wiim device and I'm highly disappointed that the settings and saved bookmark items are not the same on all the different devices I have in my home.
Adding one more: my previous Bluesound Powernode let me us the Back/FF buttons to skip to the next sound in the RP queue, currently my WiiM amp does not provide this. Would be a nice feature
