Lms integration/material skin integration into wiim home app would be brilliant.

Room Correction Beta firmware for WiiM Pro, Pro Plus and Amp - User Testing Experience

Yes boosting means driving your amp harder using twice the power with 6db. More distortion also. My processor tonewinner at-300 applies multiple boosts for its auto eq. It looks flatter but boy does it it ruin the sound. It sounds best with Eq disabled. I only use the subwoofer peq channels...

Poll - what would your main influences be if you were considering buying a WiiM Ultra?

A firmware update that increases the screen size to 10"

Room Correction Beta firmware for WiiM Pro, Pro Plus and Amp - User Testing Experience

You shouldn't be applying any boost, instead just cut peaks.

    WiiM Ultra

Really needs to be a wizard, with tips & tricks. If it's anything like REW it'll be too complicated. Also to display results and recommend tips with clippy saying things like "don't overcorrect speakers, you want to cut peaks, don't go overboard, don't apply boost, less is more, we recommend...

Room Correction Beta firmware for WiiM Pro, Pro Plus and Amp - User Testing Experience

From other good room correction systems most people don't go above 5K ie Anthem, change the correction change From my REW results correction should be done . Can see where RC should be applied and to leave it https://ibb.co/sFsNgfz

Beta Test: Room Correction for WiiM Pro, Pro Plus, Amp

Wiim could do with writing a Room EQ guide, for each product, do's and donts etc. Otherwise this feature could ruin sound, with people that don't know how to use it. Or perhaps in room correction wizard... or you'll return product as room EQ with could make system sound bad. Perhaps start off...

Beta Test: Room Correction for WiiM Pro, Pro Plus, Amp

I'm talking about AVR's, and how it's typically done, that each channel, each correction is specific to that channel. With a stereo streamer if PEQ is shared on LR you need to determine if a speaker has a same peak on both L&R, so the same filter is ok to use with for both. Correcting 80hz...

Beta Test: Room Correction for WiiM Pro, Pro Plus, Amp

Typically you test individual speakers and subwoofers together then room EQ should apply corrections. Having shared LR and subwoofer running off the LR signal isn't ideal as you're correcting sub when correcting speakers (and vice versa) I'm using high pass speakers and sub with a antimode, so...

Room Correction Beta firmware for WiiM Pro, Pro Plus and Amp - User Testing Experience

Suggest two EQ presets, as I have two pairs of speakers (Celestion A1 compact and A3) from the same av pre, so would be useful to measure for each pair, then use that EQ profile for that specific pair and easily switch from one to the other.

    WiiM Ultra

Don't forget covering yourself with tar and feathers. Then waving your arms in clucking fashion whilst wearing a rubber glove on your head. That improves soundstaging.

    WiiM Ultra

The remote I have uses a off line utility, so it doesn't matter if support is dropped. All you need is a IR remote, and you just learn the codes directly into the remote.

Beta Test: Room Correction for WiiM Pro, Pro Plus, Amp

If Wiim send me a Ultra for free, I'm able to do before/after sweeps on three audio systems ;-)
