4.8.50654 has brought issue back when running apps from Samsung tv. Previous firmware was fine.

It’s now 5 days since this was released and I haven’t received yet. Is there a way to force FW update?

I have a feeling it’s helping to lock some timing somewhere in. Something gets out of sync and the app locks it back. It’s why I put it in my feedback notes.

Has not fixed the issue with Samsung tvs and their apps. Still sounds cracking and digitally distorted. Opening the app fixes it right away.

Ok just tried something out of the blue. I’ve been trying this out running the streaming apps from my Samsung tv. Getting static on all apps. Decided to see if maybe this was an issue with just the apps on tv. I also have a fire stick connected so thought I’d try the apps run from fire stick...

Noticed this as well. Regular tv programs don’t seem to have this issue but any streaming service like Netflix hulu and or Amazon video cause static within 5 minutes. Opening the WiiM app on phone stops it. 5 minutes later happens again

Same issue here. TV>pro via optical>amp via rca and optical (tried both). Static occurs after a few minutes. music streaming via Ethernet is fine. Any streaming service makes it worse. Shame because this is reason I got pro. Have mini already and wanted it for this exact reason. To...
