Yes, and the Pro has the option to auto sense the optical (or analog) input and switch inputs as long as the device is idle. Convenient if connecting to a TV. Turning on the TV takes the Pro out of standby and sends a 12V signal.
The amp I have connected to the 12V only gets triggered on and...
Bypassing the WiiM and connecting to my DAC via Bluetooth. LDAC and FLAC have similar max bitrates, so it's close enough to bit perfect for me. For my use, this is all much less about the numbers than the quality and ease of the listening experience.
Alexa cast in the Amazon app plays gaplessly (but oddly doesn't show the quality like it does with Chromecast/Bluetooth/USB playback). But no Alexa cast support for Plexamp or Deezer. Plex/Plexamp support is really my biggest need. I'd like to ditch Amazon/Deezer and go entirely...

Worth noting that the 12V trigger is 2.5mm. My trigger chain only uses 3.5mm, guess I'll have to wait a few more days for a 2.5mm adapter to get here so I can power my amp and sub with the Pro.
