Thanks for the responses.. So yeah, I've been just using Plex Server for the most part, I have to run that anyway for my home theater and Rokus. I've tried minimserver and jellyfin in the past, but that was a few years ago when my media was on a windows desktop and they never really worked...

I suppose I should mention - I'm using the android app on my phone, and have another android tablet that I would dedicate as a remote if I can get this sorted.
