I use a powerbank with my Mini/Mojo2. Def sounds better than using the USB charger I was using.

Hi Griff, no unfortunately. But mine was fresh from the box, it never worked for me. Your fault might be something different if it's previously worked. WiiM support are very helpful, definitely worth raising a ticket. Good luck J

Am experimenting with my B&O E8's and the Mini via its Bluetooth output. Does anyone know what codec(s) the Mini uses?

Heya, thanks for your suggestion. The 4 devices I've used are all on the same 2.4ghz band wifi router. I'm not sure it would make any difference though as the set up procedure uses BT and a wifi access point (?) in the Mini itself. At this point it's an independent device and not connected or...

You mean attempt a reset? No, tried 10 times or more. Neither does holding - and + to force it into BT connection mode.

Yes, tried 3 different power supplies and a USB hub.

I raised a ticket with Wiim support a week ago. They recognised a fault from my explanation and were going to replace my Mini until I told them I'd purchased from AliExpress. I've not had a reply since. Hence why I am here, trying to get it to work.

Thanks, I have raised a ticket this week and have been bouncing between WiiM and the AliExpress seller trying to get it work. I've learnt more in this 1/2 hour than the previous 5 days.

Just to be clear... Is it usual to have both the Mini's BT connection and Wifi connection visible during the set-up process? I have neither and that could be a clear indication my device is faulty.

Yeah, nothing unfortunately. Does the red light come on to indicate a timed out set-up OR to indicate a fault?

Oh it's a wifi access point? I presumed it was BT as that's what the Home app asks you to check. I can't see anything. What would it be called?
