You can hear at 20khz?! Not trying to poke you in the eye, but I'm long past that at 58 yrs old, I went to a website that outputs sound at any frequency you want, hooked to my Audio Engine USB DAC and my really good desktop speakers AND headphones. Sadly, I could not hear past 15khz or so...

Thanks, not sure I am articulating my question. I have Media server running (always have) and can stream my files from my Synology straight to my Denon if I like. That's not the point. The point is, with WiiM Pro: it's just showing an hierarchical list of folders. ie, Songs, or Album, or...

I guess my Q is what's the best GUI to use? I can play files on my Synology via WiiM home app, but it just shows me folders, and I have to scroll through them. Surely there must a better way with a GUI? I know I can use Audio Station, but then it's AirPlaying to the WiiM and downrezzing accordingly.

I think you can turn off the LED light in settings.

After getting settings right (use 24bit/92khz) for Qobuz and my Denon DAC, it sounds great. Thanks for insight.

It did not work for me logging in and out but I found another thread that said to put it at 24 bit/192khz. This worked for me, in spite of sample file not playing at that level. Qobuz plays now at 24/96 which makes me happy!

I discovered you must put the WiiM app on 24 bit 192khz, even if you know your DAC (Denon AVR 3313 in my case) does not go that high, ie 96khz. It works now, and streams at 96khz. It must sync the clock with the DAC. ALso, the test sample does not play when I choose this setting but it works...

Guys, looking for opinions, should I use default DAC within WiiM Pro, ie analog out to my Denon AVR 3313 or do a digital out and use the built in DAC within the Denon? I realize I can try both, just looking for opinions. Denon has Burr Brown DAC, but several years old. WiiM Pro is supposed to...
