Maybe. WiiM also can't "find" my AirConnect devices to Cast to. AirConnect advertises as _raop._tcp devices on the network, and WiiM seems to ignore devices doing that. (similar behavior as when I want to cast WiiM to shairport-sync)
Good point, and shairport-sync apparently does support NTP for Airplay 1 protocol (and not for Airplay 2 where it supports PTP). Spent a lot of time debugging this and communicating with shairport-sync dev.
