It's very frustrating to still be experiencing issues with BT on both the Pro and the Amp and no apparent activity from WiiM. The latest FW for the Pro had made no difference. Playback proceeds for a time and then breaks down into stutter.

It has been happening to me regularly over the past day whilst testing my Amp. It seems to happen for me when I change the music output from BT to Speaker and back to a new BT device. The only option seems to restart the Amp.

Apparently they have rolled back my FW as well. I will check it out when I get home but I think the updated FW experience was better than the previous - it was still not really usable as you have to keep pausing to cure the stuttering. I could certainly not showcase it to anyone else in its...
I was very pretty happy when my Pro upgraded to the latest FW and music played without stutter straight out of the gate. Then, a few minutes in there was a stutter and things recovered. After that it has gotten progressively worse and the stutter is back although I have not had the trilling...
I am still experiencing issues and since the last FW update, more issues with the BT headband than previously. Waiting patiently for a specific FM update to cure this problem...
Steve
Yes! How does that work out - it is counter intuitive to what you would expect. My (very) cheap BT headband which I use for sleep works well with the Amp. I need to test it again with the Pro.

Unfortunately I have neither HDMI Arc nor a CD player!
I have found that the Pro is inclined to stutter, irrespective of whether I am using Tidal direct or streaming from LMS. Both the Pro and the Amp suffer from ‘trilling’. Both effects render listening impossible. The Amp is better than the...
Hi, thanks for your reply. My ticket numbers are:

Stutter / Trill #496924
BT Stutter / Trill #496923
Bluetooth Stutter #496739
Bluetooth Stutter #495506
Bluetooth Output #492377
The various devices in use are detailed within the tickets. If there is any specific testing you would...
The whole thing is extremely frustrating, made worse by the (seemingly) lack of engagement by WiiM to resolve the issue. As each FW update comes along, hopes are raised and then dashed when the issue is not resolved. Continuing development of the devices is great, but I would have thought that...
And whilst any development news is interesting, follow up news on issues not yet fixed would be welcomed more! There is still no news regarding the BT issue that a number have been experiencing. Some sort of progress report would be welcome - a reassurance that the matter hasn't been forgotten...
I'm afraid it leaves me feeling a bit short-changed. Whilst BT is not perfect , I would expect that in this day and age it should be able to work.
I understood that all devices use SBC as a minimum and select the best codec that is available.
I am not happy with the idea of purchasing...
Thanks for your suggestions. Yes to both. Frankly, in this day and age though it shouldn't make a difference. Other products cope fine with both bands.
Steve
I understand where you are coming from, but if everyone did this then inertia will kick in, and pressure on WiiM to resolve this issue will fall. I doubt as well that WiiM are going to reimburse customers for any workaround devices purchased to help with a product that should just work out of...
