The HDMI ARC is only an input (not output), and the Ultra is a stereo-design. So even if you could manage to feed Atmos into the Ultra, there would have to be a conversion since it can only output stereo + sub.

Im afraid that 250 will kill more than the competition. WiiM as a company cant survive solely on sales-volume if they’re not making a profit huge enough to be sustainable :-/

Spotify have a better app and a larger database of music than the other services, so if the entire database will be lossless CD-quality i guess a little higher prices than Tidal/Qobuz/Apple Music can be justified 👍🏻

People will always want more for less, but we have to be reasonable here and not just choose the lowest price. WiiM har normally made exceptional products, so if the screen is of Eversolo-quality and the DAC is good - i think the 449£$€ will be fair 👍🏻

I now see that WiiM replied on 31st december. I thought it was early october. So maybe we see nothing until fall. But its okay, i live happily with my Pro and a good DAC - and for me the Ultra needs to be more tempting than more connections I dont need and a fysical screen 🙂
