I use the Tidal app on Lenovo android tablet, select using cast to icon bottom left, then select WiiM Pro on next screen, runs well from there, only disconnects I get is if I pause using WiiM remote for a lengthy time, just run the above seq again and all good, Chromecast not involved

So, after using Bubble (free) for some time, WiiM Home (free) for a short time and now Tidal (not free) for a few days, the Tidal app by far and away is the worst, what a pos, it's play queue functionality and listening history is abysmal and/or non-existent.

Thanks for relating yr testing, I've tried controlling volume at diff points along the chain and cannot discern any diff, using the WiiM remote is def the most convenient ftw!

I just started using Wiim Pro and have a similar situation and pov as you, I prefer to use the Wiim remote to control volume but not if it has a material impact on 'bit perfectness'. What have you experienced with this?
