I have the Wiim Pro Plus and just yesterday discovered the "filters" menu in the "audio out" section of the app. I don't know if the Wiim Amp has this, it may?
Also, I being in the "plug in in, it'll be fine" percentile, I was powering the Wiim Pro Plus with an Amazon 1 amp charger. Bad...
I can't say I've had any experience with the Geshelli. But I've had experience with the Wiim.

Wiim has given new life to a "stereo" in the classic sense, at least at my house. No, it's not part of a TV. Oh! My wife can turn the volume down from a google mini. A little music in the background is fine. I have the Wiim Pro. I now have an Emotiva A 100 and the trigger works just fine...
Same here with the EQ killing the stream. Whew, I thought it was me. It's always me! I've already sent a ticket though. I guess it's the latest update.
In my place I use the burr-brown dac that's included with the streamer. A co-ax input along with the optical input would be a nice option. Even if you prefer a downstream dac being able to choose inputs via the app, or button, for people with other digital sources adds function.
I'm aware the WiiM Pro has a co-axial output. I have a CD player with a co-axial output and would like to be able to use it with the Wiim's internal DAC. CD players, CD's, they're still a thing. I just can't get why there's a co-ax output, but no input! Wha? Maybe on the "son of WiiM Pro...
