    Currently watching a movie and the static has been happening every two minutes like clockwork, super annoying. It throws the voice syncing off til it happens again synchronized the sound and video back on track.

    Same here, got that first whitelisted firmware that didn’t really work. I sent them a clip of it happening again and no replies now lol

    Mine got worse today, it was continuously producing static and I had to reboot the wiim to stop it. It’s unfortunate as it’s a good product otherwise. I have til February 10th to return it if it can’t be solved.

    since the new firmware update it happened once on Monday and twice on Tuesday, better than before. Does everyone have the auto input switch turned on? I wonder if it has anything to do with that

    If you haven’t already, send them a feedback with MAC address and they will do a firmware update. They did for me and it’s so far solved it

    For me this is as I’ve previously had my Samsung qn90b hooked up via toslink to my Kef ls50 wireless for weeks before I added the wiim pro and there were no issues.

    I also have this issue using optical in from tv and optical out to Kef ls50 wireless. It happens randomly watching Netflix and YouTube so far.
