How are you connected to the net? Wireless? If so how far to your router!
If you are wireless move it to the router and use a cable. See if it works. And I never turn the power off on my WiiM devices.

I went through the same thing when the Amp first came out . The Amp hated my wifi, and if there is one thing I have is good wifi. My mesh wifi has no issues with any other device including three WiiM devices.
