Wiim to Cambridge via optical Cambridge to Klipsch via rca to 3.5. Have a couple BIC Acoustech subs as well. Songs without distorted guitars sound great, Tom Petty, Pink Floyd etc. The heavy stuff is bad.

I can get that work sometimes. And when it works , man it sounds good! Problem is it doesn’t always work. It shows I am connected to WIIM on top right but no sound from speakers . Any ideas?

Thanks that is where I have it set. Even Amazon Music is only playing back at 44 with HD/UHD setting to on. Tidal keeps dropping for no reason

Well, just set up my new WIIM pro today. Used Tidal Connect and man did it sound good! For the two songs it worked on. Completely stopped playing even though if it shows I am connected to WIIM. Have tried a reboot , worked again for a song or two than stops. The Tidal app through the WIIM...

Yes I could switch source on the DAC . I’m am new to this stuff and still confused if I keep setup the way it is, how I would connect Wiim and DAC to speakers. The optical is currently in Dac from tv and to RCA to 3.5 to speakers. I could go the coaxial from DAC, but where to connect to speaker...

Actually the optical is free in the Klipsch right now. CA DAC magic 100. Yea would prefer to use the DAC instead of powered speaker DAC. Have something called SP/dif 1 and 2 on back of DAC. Optical is free currently on Klipschs
