Mr. Ee , you are the man. It appears my issue was with the rca to 3.5. I am up and running with just rca from DAC to Klipsch and everything is sounding great! Just switched the turntable to rca to 3,5 and that is sounding fine Thanks for following up and being patient with me. Now just...
You correct on my initial setup and I do think it had to do with the coax cable. You are correct, that I switched to optical from the WIIM to DAC and just went optical straight from tv to the sixes while keeping rca to 3.5 to the speakers from the DAC. I was also having some problems with Tidal...
Wiim to Cambridge via optical Cambridge to Klipsch via rca to 3.5. Have a couple BIC Acoustech subs as well. Songs without distorted guitars sound great, Tom Petty, Pink Floyd etc. The heavy stuff is bad.
So I was having problems streaming from Wiim to Cambridge audio DAC magic 100 to Klipsch the sixes and switched to optical. No issues now. I am testing Amazon HD , QobuZ and Tidal. I think they all sound fine, but heavy rock tracks are just plain bad. Example; Lithium from Nirvana sound so...
Yes did that. Received my new one today. It appears having my setting at 24/192 was causing the problem. Maybe the Cambridge Audi DAC magic 100 didn’t like that. It appears everything is working now, but between Amazon HD, Qobuz and Tidal nothing sounding significantly better than simply...
I can get that work sometimes. And when it works , man it sounds good! Problem is it doesn’t always work. It shows I am connected to WIIM on top right but no sound from speakers . Any ideas?
Well, just set up my new WIIM pro today. Used Tidal Connect and man did it sound good! For the two songs it worked on. Completely stopped playing even though if it shows I am connected to WIIM. Have tried a reboot , worked again for a song or two than stops. The Tidal app through the WIIM...
You have been so helpful. I know exactly what to do now! Thank you so much!! Yes toslink is on now and I do know how to change source! Looks like just need a coaxial digital cable with the pro and I will be all set!
Yes I could switch source on the DAC . I’m am new to this stuff and still confused if I keep setup the way it is, how I would connect Wiim and DAC to speakers. The optical is currently in Dac from tv and to RCA to 3.5 to speakers. I could go the coaxial from DAC, but where to connect to speaker...
This is awesome! Sorry for the dumb questions , but if I wanted to just keep tv the same way and not worrying about switching, what are the options? Only have the optical on back of Klipschs
Actually the optical is free in the Klipsch right now.
CA DAC magic 100. Yea would prefer to use the DAC instead of powered speaker DAC. Have something called SP/dif 1 and 2 on back of DAC. Optical is free currently on Klipschs
