Don’t know if I’ve seen any third party implementations of BBC Sounds tbh. Given that at its best it’s only 320Kbps (although didn’t radio3/4 briefly trial FLAC?), you’d be as well using Airplay or Chromecast from the official BBC sounds app. Plus I imagine there’d be licensing implications for use outside the UK.

LMS has a plugin for it. So it's currently available on the WiiM from LMS via UPnP or Airplay.

There is a long thread on the Bluesound Community that started 4 years ago about BBC Sounds (nothing has happened yet, but that is normal with Bluesound) so Wiim could easily overtake Bluesound:

It does indeed and it provides the full BBC Sounds feature set. Catch up etc
