Chromecast for Mini?

Does anyone know if there are any plans to update the Mini to support Chromecast? WiiM supports Airplay and Chromecast in the Pro. Currently Airplay is supported in the Mini but not Chromecast.

3. Chromecast Playback Issue: Fixed a bug that resulted in no sound when using Chromecast. Users can now seamlessly transition to Chromecast without audio interruptions.

Reckon it's just a mistake - the mini simply doesn't have the necessary hardware for chromecast.
