Could there be an option or way to disable "Auto-update"? I'd like to manage the updates if/when I want.
if it ain't broke, don't fix it

It's an old request. Many here have asked same thing. But... nothing.
Maybe, perhaps, that they could provide a roll-back option.

Wiim behaves as dirty as Windows, which decides updates and restarts for you.

Which absolutely makes sense. In the end WiiM gets flooded with tickets for issues that have been solved already. My suggestion: IF there's a way in the future to not update, then those users with soft- or firmware not up to date should be blocked from writing tickets. That should be easy to do.
