No. Sorry I wasn't clear. I am using an external DAC connected via coax or optical. Both connections exhibit this behavior, and as far as I can tell, is limited to 44khz files.

I submitted a ticket and said they would look into it, but starting to get worried whether it would be addressed. Kind of a deal breaker for me, tbh. It's very abrasive, uncomfortable, and annoying.
