Hi. If I set my amp to "network standby", the amp can be switched on by devices like the Wiim Pro when a signal is received. On my amp, this works with Spotify Connect + DLNA connections. Is there way to configure the Wiim Pro to do this? Thx

After checking, the initial volume can be set across all inputs but this requires all Wiim users to then have the Yamaha Musiccast to increase volume past initial setting. Typically those users only use Spotify Connect for full range volume control.

I leave the receiver on all the time. Otherwise the family will need to turn it on before use, so they'd need Musiccast. Need to check re initial volume.

If so, seems like a flaw or future product request. The Wiim connectivity options imply all household members + guests will utilise its features from their mobile devices, not just a single audiophile.
