No. Sorry I wasn't clear. I am using an external DAC connected via coax or optical. Both connections exhibit this behavior, and as far as I can tell, is limited to 44khz files.

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing static noise at the beginning/pausing/playing/seeking through 44khz files. I'm getting it via coax and optical, whether through upnp or Amazon.
