    WiiM Pro + Focal

…that’s the route I went down mainly for its simplicity, I wanted the smallest number of boxes (i.e. I didn’t want or have the space for separate dacs, preamps, and power amps ) but would also be good for music as well as have good bass for movies, so I got a Wiim pro and connected it to some...

    What's your setup/configuration look like?

You've got a really neat and tidy setup, my Systemline multiroom setup is also from 2000/2001 installed by the previous owner of the house...it was a really nice setup. A bit like you I had a Echo Link and more recently a Wiim Mini connected to a single input and then daisy chained that input...

    What's your setup/configuration look like?

I take your point, I’ve got a Gigabit switch in the same cabinet so can wire in some Wiim Pro’s rather than the minis, I’ve also got Cat5 from here to each of the old inwall controllers in each zone, so I’ll look into the wall mounts for small tablets to see if there are any suitable replacements.

    What's your setup/configuration look like?

Yes the WiiM’s will be able to hear one another as they’re all in the same cabinet, so hopefully they’ll all be in sync. I just need to find a remote control solution. I’ve looked extensively at whole home audio systems with inwall controllers that accept remote control input to activate the...

    What's your setup/configuration look like?

That’s useful info, I didn’t know about the sync issue with multiple devices. In my plan, all the WiiM’s would be located in a cabinet in the lounge along with the Fosi v3 amps, which is where all the ceiling speaker cables route back to, so the Wiim remote controls wouldn’t work from each of...

    What's your setup/configuration look like?

Now that’s the sort of system I’m trying to replicate. Do you have remote controls and in-wall controllers in each of the rooms to activate a zone? I’m trying to replace an old Systemline s4.3 system where the zone amps have given up the ghost. Thought I might be able to do it with 6 Wiim...

What products you'd like to see WiiM produce?

Probably in dream world, but a WiFi enabled remote control so I can control each of the 6 WiiM’s I have in a cabinet in the lounge from the different zones around the house…currently having to use Alexa or the Wiim app to control the WiiM pros.

    Wiim wifi remote

I have considered that, I have Cat5 network cable into each of the zones, so thought about doing some inwall controllers using Samsung phones or iPhones… you can get some cat5 to lightning converters which would allow the, to continually charge!

    Wiim wifi remote

I’d like to have a wifi enabled Wiim remote so I can control a Wiim from another room. I’m trying to recreate a whole home audio distribution using 6 WiiM’s connected to 6 zone amps all in a lounge cabinet but would like a physical remote in each of the zones to adjust volume, skips tracks or...

    Device groups

First post, so I thought I’d try and make it a good one! I have exactly the same requirement to make the grouping persistent after reboots. I’m trying to recreate a whole home audio distribution to 6 zones and need to group a Wiim mini in the kitchen zone to the Wiim mini connected to the...
