As the OP, I'm pleased to say the beta is working really well. Excellent news—at last!

Wiim/Squeezelite now directly available! Great news, and for me this beta will replace the previous (and occasionally clunky) uPnP route to LMS. Great news for Wiim, too, as I think the simplicity of this link to LMS opens up the Wiim Pro to a fresh and sizeable potential audience.

Been trying the beta and I'm very impressed. For me this will now replace the LMS uPnP plugin, which I've been using until now, and thus give me direct access to Wiim/Squeezelite as a player. Surely a big boost in potential users for the Wiim Pro.

Yes, d6jg, I agree, having done similar research on most of the services: for me, Qobuz and LMS make the best combo for ease of use, comprehensive library, and good sound. Now all we need, with Roon out of the way, is for Wiim to sort out LMS implementation.

Wiim people, I believe you now have Roon in place, so it's time to sort out LMS implementation, don't you think? And as others have said here, LMS implementation will probably earn you more new users than Roon.

Brantome, Wiim does indeed seem to have some work to do on "bug fixing and minor tweaks". I only open the Wiim app to check for updates, because, in my opinion, while my Wiim Pro is a decent bit of hardware, Wiim's software is poor. LMS, on the other hand, is collectively an excellent suite of...

Given the lack of anything at all from Wiim on this subject, my guess is that they have no intention of implementing LMS/Squeezelite, but just shoved it at the bottom of the roadmap to lure unsuspecting LMS fans to part with some cash. A shame.

I second d6jg's comment about how well LMS's UPnP/DLNA Bridge 2.1.19 plugin is now working with WiiMs, in my case a Pro (which had been recalcitrant in earlier versions of the plugin). But... it would indeed still be nice to have proper Squeezelite implementation. Come on WiiM people. You know...

I can confirm the poor performance of the Pro when linked to my audio setup from LMS via the UPnP plugin. If I make a playlist within LMS's Qobuz plugin and then start to play it via the UPnP bridge, hardly anything plays as expected. For example, some tracks are skipped entirely (it jumps to...
