I'm on android so no volume limiter option. If I slide those numbered circles around it effects the gain and frequency values which is not what I want to do. I assume all is well but I am just trying to understand how PEQ is intended to work at this time.
Apologies but I'm not following...
What slider are we referring to? I have fixed volume output on and use coax to output to a DAC.
This is what I mean when I said my graph looks wonky and doesn't track my adjustments.
I udated my Pro yesterday and since I already had some recent REW measurements I went ahead and used the two Pk filters and a shelf filter. Sounds better with some limited listening. The volume seems lower after eq. Is that to be expected? I'm new to PEQ in general. Also my graph looks wonky. If...
I'm not a Pandora user either so not familiar with it's implementation in the WHA. Maybe try using the Pandora app directly. If casting from Spotify for example, you get kicked out of the WHA and use the Spotify app directly and you can cast via Chromecast to your tv or Wiim.
I'm not a Roon user but what I think your asking is to use the TV as a display which you can do right now if you have an android based TV like a Sony or a Chromecast device connected to the TV and you cast to a group which includes the TV or the TV directly.
I ended up getting the Nest Hub (impulse buy since they can be found so cheap).
When casting to the group from Qobuz I'm getting sound out of both the hifi system (wiim) and the nest hub which is obviously the purpose of Google home speaker groups, but for our purposes of using the nest hub as...
Appreciate you. This info is sorely missing from the Internet. Do you need to use Chromecast specifically or will the nest hub simply display whatever the wiim pro is playing regardless?
Great point. I guess I just assumed if my cheap bluray player which outputs in SPDIf can play SACDs then should be fine. I checked the specs on my DAC (topping) which is a fairly common brand and it does do DSD (DoP): DSD64. Not great compared to USB but useable.
IMHO the next h/w iteration of...
