Yes Sonos will work with Airplay 2, definitely. The question is can I send in-sync audio from a turntable to a group of Sonos speakers in a room using the Wiim Pro.

Ah ok - to be honest, I was trying to avoid the extra cost - I've just spent a fortune on a speakers and decorating a music/movie room etc. If I can get a Wiim to do the same job for €175 that makes sense for me.

It's Sonos' own network streamer for their own devices. It comes in at €429. You're better off not having heard of it! :)
