Hi!
Scenario: I like the song currently being played on Radio Paradise (or any other radio station that publishes song metadata) and I want to look it up on any streaming service I may be subscribed to (Spotify, Amazon, Tidal, Quobuz, etc) so I can play it on demand in the future.
Thanks for giving it a try. @WiiM Support , is it supposed to work this way, or is it a defect? Why can I stream analog sources to a LinkPlay multiroom group, and not a Chromecast source?
Thanks!
It is relevant. In fact, it's exactly the same use case: master with Chromecast support, slave without. I would really appreciate it if you could try and let me know.
Thanks!
Yeah, sorry, I have now corrected the mistake. I have a Wiim Pro. Spotify Connect, vRadio and Radio Paradise work well with multiroom, Chromecast doesn't.
The Audio Pro C3 doesn't support Chromecast, so I can't add the slave speakers to a Google Home group.
Hi!
I just received my Wiim Pro. I have it configured as a master, with two Audio Pro C3 as the slaves, in the Wiim Home app.
Everything seems to be working fine, except that if I stream audio via Chromecast to the Wiim Pro, I can't hear anything from the slaves.
Is this by design, or am I doing...
Hi!
This has been in the "we may work on it in the future" list for some time now. Is there any progress on it?
Many of us have their entire CD collection ripped in FLAC on one cloud service or another, it would be great if there was direct support from the Wiim Home app.
Thank you! 😊
Hi!
The latest roadmap for the Wiim Mini mentions "Multiroom of hi-res audio" as one of the features the @WiiM Team is thinking of supporting.
I appreciate it may not have been designed yet. However, I have a few questions about it:
Is there a rough timeframe for it yet?
When it gets...
@WiiM Team @WiiM Support There's another problem with the RP music service: you can't set any of the channels as presets. Any chance of fixing that as well?
That's not correct. There are 2 ways of listening to Radio Paradise in the Wiim Home app:
Via the dedicated Radio Paradise music service: this doesn't have metadata.
Via the vTuner music service: this DOES have metadata.
To be honest, I don't really understand why they bothered creating...
