WiiM Mini interference with Bell (Arris) 2502 ipTV receiver

I need to admit the same. Hearing JAG givens me the confidence to feel I need not reset the WiiM before each session…

WiiM Mini interference with Bell (Arris) 2502 ipTV receiver

I came here to report a very similar problem, also with Bell wifi. That is, Bell cable (Tv) downstairs connects with a Bell repeater upstairs via wifi. When the WiiM Mini is providing an optical output to my HP DAC/Amp and working without interrupts, the Tv video will hang while audio continues...

Resolving 24/192 not working via SPDIF

Having tested it, the WiiM’s ‘on the fly’ downsampling is certainly efficient and practically transparent. One advantage of having the Jriver server take care of it is that it’s only half the data would be transferred via a 2-story wifi mesh. It would certainly come down to how efficiently...

WiiM Pro SPDIF not working on 24/192 **SOLVED**

I was having problems with my Mini stopping in the middle of a playlist. I tried a number of things before suspecting the optical cable to my DAC possibly being the problem. Just for troubleshooting, I replaced it with the only other TOSlink cable had, and now my WiiM is playing the 15th...

Resolving 24/192 not working via SPDIF

Oops!, my bad… My DAC is reporting the correct value, 96kHz… my player must be reading the file’s tags… … and that brings up a question. If I want to govern the the output sampling rate which is best? To have Jriver downsample 192=>96kHz (using SoX) from the server, or to have the WiiM do it?

Resolving 24/192 not working via SPDIF

I wondered how the WiiM might handle a 192kHz track when configured for SPDIF 96kHz. My player is still reporting 192kHz…(?)

WiiM as available output quirks (iOS)

In spite of which JRemote app is running on whatever platform, both of mine show the WiiM as a zone available locally on my LAN. ALL zones associated with my JR server show up, as well as ‘this device’. However, my smarttv and sound bar also show, and now the WiiM. The JR server should be as...

WiiM as available output quirks (iOS)

I’ll look into my JR server settings and report back tomorrow. In the meantime, let me know what your WiiM’s output (e.g., SPDIF, RCA) is connected to and how, just so I have the context. Is your server on a Windows platform? Is your JRemote app on iOS or Android? (I generally use an Android...

WiiM as available output quirks (iOS)

I just set up the Mini as a streamer between my JRiver server and my Topping DX3 Pro+ (via optical). I found the WiiM app unpolished, but was pleasantly surprised to see it show up as an alternative output device for the JRiver client app, JRemote. The JR player reports bitperfect playback. I...
