I think the Wiim app on Chromecast and Android TV would be great, I know you are able to stream to Chromecast as I use it to get a now playing screen on my Google nest display, but I find this can be fairly unreliable and often have to restart the screen to get it to show the now playing screen...
If I stream over chromecast to include my google display the Max quality audio output changes to high quality, is this normal behavior and if not how can I change it?
I currently control the volume from the Wiim Pro with my amplifier (Audiolab 6000A)
So I set the output from the wiim to non variable and output the sound via optical to the DAC in my amp.
If I set the Wiim to variable and control the volume using the Wiim remote rather than my amplifier remote...
I have just bought a Wiim pro( I also have a mini) Chromecast is not showing up when I want to cast to it, I am using an iPhone and an android tablet, my other chromecast devices are available?
If I play music today and try to resume from yesterday I get no sound, I looks like its playing the track but I get no audio, I have to go back into the wiim settings and reselect the track that I am playing...Android tablet
I would like to be able to add a display of what's playing , maybe a Tablet or a small monitor, probably not going to happen for the Wiim mini that I use, ( unless it can be done wireless) but maybe on any new products:)
When using the Wiim app, scrolling through Tidal there are only 6 Albums on screen, can this be changed to have more, if you have a lot of Albums saved this can be a lot of scrolling. (Android tablet)
