I select Recently Added a lot when accessing my DLNA library and it seems that it's limited to the last 25 items added. Is there any way to increase this? I suspect it's a limitation of the Plex server, as my other streamer - a Cambridge CXN - has the same limitation..... although Plexamp shows...
On the CA app I'm able to see my server.. I'll need to test again when this happens to see if it's simply cached or if I'm able to play music immediately with the CXN via the CA software. In fact I think I'll check that first in the mornings and then check the WiiM to see if I have awoken the...
I'm not sure - my server is set to never sleep and it hasn't been a problem until recently. My other streamer - a Cambridge CXN - sees it no problem. It usually comes back within 10 or 15 minutes after restarting the app a few times
For the last few weeks at least I'm unable to see my Plex server in the mornings whereas it played fine before I went to bed. Force closing the app doesn't immediately fix it but eventually it comes back. I am able to continue playing where I left off the previous night and can skip through my...
You're asking for trouble. Since you can control everything with your phone, why not just ruin speaker wires through the wall to your speakers? That's what I do
This seems to have been resolved recently. Just me, or is it working fine for others on Android too? In the past when I was listening to DLNA server music before going to bed, the app would be locked up in the morning but now I'm able to play music without restarting it
Nope, still broken. When I came back to the app after 5 hours or so it just spins, requiring a force close and restart. Same issue affecting my buddy who isn't in the forum
I sent feedback through the app, but not when I'm having the issue as the app is frozen when it's having the issue - the "Loading..." spinner is active but none of the buttons work so I can't click the Send Us Feedback until I close out of the app and open it again.
This problem has never resolved for me either and I only recommend the Wiim to friends on iphones. Not sure what info I can provide to help but every time there's an app update I remain hopeful it will be fixed but I'm always disappointed
The issue I was having was mostly with my other streamer, a Cambridge CXN and the Wiim usually worked flawlessly so I assumed the issue was just the CXN. The router worked great for years, but it was 6 years old and became unpredictable even after factory resets
I had to do the same thing with my router to get my other streamer to work recently, but my wiim was fine. I ended up switching routers to another one I had on hand and both streamers worked flawlessly. It worked great for years so I'm not sure what the issue was
I read the original post incorrectly. I thought you were saying the app needed to be restarted each time. Check your router and assign the Wiim a static ip address maybe
I think you can only check network connectivity. MTU is something worth looking into regardless. My network speeds more than doubled when I lowered the MTU. It takes 10 minutes to test to find the optimal size (which will only be optimal for your computer that you check with but I found all...
