Control two Wiims with one remote control

Can I switch between two WiiMs with one remote control?

For instance
Press the customize button 1 to control the Wii M pro. Press button 2 to switch to control the WiiM mini.

Or do you need to pair the WiiM you want to operate each time?

From what I've read so far, it's the latter - it can only be paired to one WiiM at a time.

I also expect it to be the latter, but Amazon's "Features & details" says:

I thought that if I assigned [Device > remote > Searching for WiiM remote] to the customize button, I might be able to switch it.
