Wow, nice list - these gems are not easily come by, and are always vulnerable to stations migrating to different servers, getting hidden behind pop-up "players," or her disappearing altogether.

I did suggest to WiiM some time ago that we should be able to save and load such playlists under the Open Network Stream feature, but unfortunately they haven’t implemented that…

Thanks! I've been poring over radio stream urls for years. It's been particularly hard to get hi-res (192-320+ kps) urls since, at least in the US, stations are increasingly insistent on following BBC in hiding any-quality stream addresses behind their - utterly unconfigurable - "web players." Of course this is all about money - I do pay for public radio NPR and have for years, but somehow I increasingly sense I'm getting punished for the that :) I hope Wiim soon includes import/export/sort for the stream list - really astonished these are omitted unless the motivation is nothing-for-free. I've got about 200 streams in mine already and would reciprocate your gift-post with gusto IF that didn't involve screenshots and OCR. We can only continue to knock at Wiim's door. Cheers!
 
Hi folks! I have a suggestion, try FIP Radio.
It's almost legendary french radio station, so good that it was illegally re-broadcasted in Brighton for 10 years.
Sound quality is excellent and I managed to find a stream with 192kbps aac:


Playlists are human made, with harmonic mixing so when a song ends in a key the next one will be in that key's harmony.

The only non-song program is a few minutes of a female sexy voice in french telling news or something once in an hour.

Genre is world, jazz, bossa nova, and some contemporary music and if you hear some evergreen it will surely be a cover, not a boring original.

If someone finds a better FIP stream link, please inform me.

And I have a question - City Radio Chile is one of my favourite stations but I have a problem with it, the sound is full of ugly clicks and pops. How to resolve that?
Few other streams, too.

I don't really know how this is possible because all the radios available from the Radiofrance group, whether the France Musique bouquet and the Fip bouquet, only seem to be available in 192k aac...
damaging for radios broadcasting rather "acoustic" content ...a 320k aac could be a minimum in this case...
(like with the icecast , no data.

I've been listening to Open Broadcast this weekend and the content is fantastic, you can rarely hear some well known tunes. I fire up Shazam many times a day for saving beautiful but unknown songs to a Spotify playlist and browsing newly found authors. :)
