WiiM Mini on a separate VLan than my mobile device

Hi, I have several VLan's at home (One for family, one for my kids, one for IOT devices, etc...). The WiiM's are on the IOT devices VLAN, and I used to be able to connect to them and control them from the other VLAN's (family, kids, etc). Recently it seems some change was made that prevents being able to control WiiM's that are on a separate VLAN than the mobile device. Anyone else face this issue? Is there a way to get around it? I have firewall rules that grant access, so the WiiMs are visible, but I can't play music on them .
