No Hi Rez (Tidal) with Wiim app

Hi, just got my Wiim Pro, set up was easy, but if I want to play Tidal directly on the Wiim app I only get CD quality, but I do get Hi Rez streams from Chromecast. Is this normal ?

No, your WiiM Home app has not been updated to reflect the new TIDAL plan. A compatible update has been reported for iOS, but not Android, so far. It's coming soon, for sure.

Until then Tidal Connect will give you HiRes without relying on Chromecast.

I would have thought most folk would be using the Tidal app anyway yes? No? I am.

App has been updated now..
You can see the bitrate on the high res files..

Me too, but I guess some like a one stop shop when using multiple services and local files, for searching etc.
