wiim app too dumb?

Had to setup wiim pro again after month long power off and wifi router change. In setup, I selected optical output so I can use my external dac but test audio play is just silent. Find that the external dac optical input port is damaged. need to switch wiim pro output to coax. however app is now stuck in loop- "can you hear audio?" , "not yet" brings you back to selecting bit rate but no way to go back to select different output port.

How to restart setup and break out of stupid loop?

According to the user manual:

RESETTING WIIM PRO
Press and hold the play/pause for 10s until you will hear the voice prompts of “Restore to
factory setting” and see the light flashing red and white.

thank you. Rather than factory resetting, I just lied to the app to indicate I heard the test audio. That finally allowed me to leave the dumb loop and later just go back to choose the device and settings and set the output to coax.
But kind of not very friendly interface regarding this setup process.
Otherwise I really think the app is VERY well done!
