Very confusing

I think this lossless flac, mqa or not etc is very confusing. Good quality information for me as a subscriber is not present. I only need to know what do do and when.

I have enabled MQA. MQA capabilities is set to "decoder and render". My DAC is a topping E50. Test sound in the app is working as it should for 96/24

I only get 48/24. My SPDIF is set to 96/24 What could be wrong?
