Problem solved! It was a question of source priorities in the speakers. Everything is fine now.

You are right, it's a turntable. The line-in of the Wiim is connected to the tape-out of a vintage system, so the preamp is built in the amplifier. So Wiim can distribute FM, Phono and Tape to the recievers.

Thanks Achim, Yes, Qobuz is set to 24/192. Cable budget but not cheap compared to a 179 € streamer :)

@ Achim: Which model did you choose? A look at Amazon shows dozens of AudioQuest cables and I'm "puzzled".

@ Wiimer and Balthazar, I made a test with optical 192 --> all I get is unlistenable mush. Anyway I'm not sure that a 5m optical cable would be reliable. Unfortunately, I only have the Wiim as the B&O streamer already there is limited to 96/24 optical output (that's why I bought the Wiim).

I have a similar problem with 75 Ohms digital cables: One is 2 meters long and works up to 192/24 bitrate. The other is the 5 meters version of the same cable and works up to 96/24 but there is no sound at all when I switch to 192/24. Is there a length limit for cables?
