Airplay Cast To Volumio/Raspberry Pi

Hi all, hopefully a basic question:
I'm wondering if it's possible to use Airplay to cast to a Raspberry Pi running Volumio? I'm able to use Airplay directly from my MacBook and iPhone to the RPis, but my they don't show up at all in the list of available devices in the Wiim Home app (my TV does, though, so I figure Airplay is working at least somewhat).
I've found this thread, which suggests the RPis should at least show up in the list. I'm not particularly technical, and this thread quickly starts to go over my head.
