Input switching time when using HTTP API commands

Hi everyone, I'd like to know if anyone can tell me what the delay time is when switching input sources using HTTP API requests over the LAN.

I have a specific use case for the WiiM Pro and it requires the audio source/input to be switched over very quickly, with minimum delay.

I have an Arylic 50 Pro+ and I can switch inputs using HTTP API commands, however there is a delay of up to 3 seconds when there is no audio output, although I have found it quicker when switching from optical to line in, at about 0.5 second delay, switching back takes around 3 seconds before the audio output resumes.

I imagine this could also easily be tested simply using the remote, if active audio inputs are being fed into both the line in and the optical inputs of the WiiM Pro and then the input is switched quickly between the two sources is there a delay where there is no audio output?

If someone could test and let me know that would be really helpful :)
