When I first installed my WiiM Pro all was well.
When I pressed the 'mic' button and asked Alexa to play some music, a voice confirmed my request and the music started. Gradually things changed. First the confirmation stopped, but the music still played. Next, the current music was muted, but my request had no effect. Eventually, pressing the mic button had no effect and when I let go of the button, the indicator led on the WiiM Pro flashed red for a few seconds.
I started a return with Amazon and ordered a second WiiM Pro.
When I set the new unit up it immediately behaved just the same as the first. All the other functions of the remote work correctly.
In the Alexa app. The WiiM shows as being offline. I don't know if this is normal.
Has anyone else had a similar experience or can anyone suggest anything I could try, please.
