Possibility to control WiiM from older macOS?

Is there a possibility to control WiiM from an older macOS (Sierra) which is not supporting the Wiim Home App? I would just need to control the main basic functions like play/pause etc. Maybe via a 3rd party-app? Or some kind of legacy version of the WiiM Home App? Many thanks!

Using Open Core Legacy Patcher you might be able to run a newer version of macOS which support the WiiM Home App on your older Apple computer.

There is an API that can be used to send play/pause commands among many other things. https://www.wiimhome.com/pdf/HTTP API for WiiM Mini.pdf

Conceivably, could be written in a web page.
