I'm trying to stream music from my WiiM Pro to a summer house in the garden. WiFi signal is good in there. There is currently an Echo Dot in there which I use for playing radio stations but I can't seem to get it to play what's coming out of the WiiM. I've paired the two devices together, I think and given that a name "Party Time". When I then get music outputting from WiiM and ask Alexa to play music on Party Time Alexa then only plays music from Spotify on both devices.

Do I need to buy another WiiM (Mini?) and connect that to a powered speaker by bluetooth or cable?
Thanks for any thoughts. :)

Grouping a WiiM device with an echo in an Alexa MRM group only supports cloud streaming services that Alexa supports, so Spotify will work, but other things like Qobuz, local files etc that WiiM supports won't as Alexa doesn't support them.

If you want to play all services that WiiM supports them you'll need another WiiM device in a Linkplay/WiiM device group

Thanks Brantome,
That is not the correct answer :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I'll keep my eye open for a WiiM mini at the right price then. ;)
