Hello WiiM-Team, I would absolutely appreciate the option to select more than one output at the same time. In my case I would like to output Coaxial to my DAC and optical to my RTA. Other maybe want to output digital to their DAC and analog to some Peak Level Meter or so. Restricting output options to always just one option reduces versabilty. Unless there is a technical reason for it I hope multiple options at the same time can be made available in the future. I imagine there could be check boxes in the app to select all outputs that should be active. And since optical and coaxial is basically the same signal anyway, this shouldn't be a big problem. Thanks!

I solved my needs with the DAC, on the way so not used it yet, Topping E70 Velvet where I can use the line level and balanced at the same time for bi amp, mains and subs, etc. I found an open box new unit for $300.

Yes, for your application that may be what you need, but I definitely need digital coax AND optical output, because the devices connected do not accept analog input.

Have you tried either an optical or coax splitter? Just guessing but it would seem an optical one might be better.

Yes, I usually use an optical splitter / switch, but the problem is that there is no chance to get 192kHz / 24 Bit files playing that way. It's just not really the solution that I need.

Back in 2000s Logitech produced a number of streaming devices which unless my memory is mistaken all had simultaneous output.

For example there was the Classic or SB3 that had RCA, Coax and Optical outputs - all live and all capable of upto 24/48. Later - about 2008 - they introduced the SB Touch that again had RCA, Coax and Optical outputs and also USB out. Out of the box the device was capable of 24/96 but via something called the EDO plugin you could increase the digital out capablity to 24/192.

I mention this simply by way of evidence that it is possible.

The SB Touch was light years (about 14 years) ahead of the game. https://darko.audio/2022/11/ten-years-gone-the-logitech-squeezebox-touch/

EDIT
It was 2010. So 12 years ahead of the game.

I totally agree with MrSoul4470. I bought the Wiim Pro + with the assumption that it could provide simultaneously active outputs given that my Sonos Connect (which has its own issues, hence the replacement with the WiiM) can do so. In my case, it's the latter reason mentioned -- I'd like to connect a VU meter to an active analog output while driving my external DAC (headphone amp) with the digital signal. I know . . . shouldn't assume such things, but as I noted, my more limited Sonos Connect can do this without a problem.

I think this feature is not possible otherwise wiim would have said something about this by now. I enjoy the feature being added here and there. Wiim is firmware/software specialist which other brand lacking in expertise. There so many they can do on their product till it reach the hardware capacity.

Other brands could simply recruit one or another firmware/software wizard direct out of this forum 😂😂😂😂
