sending signal to DAC unwanted coax connection

good morning everyone, my wimm pro plus is connected to the dac in coax, often even if the wiim is in standby it sends the signal to the dac, after a few seconds the dac turns off, I would like to know if this is normal or I'm doing something wrong.
