Wiim pro airplay equilizer

Does the wiim pro not support the equalizer with airplay output? I bought it so that I can take in some input from line in and then stream it via airplay with the equalizer settings. To modify the line input going out to the airplay speakers. Is this something that can be done, or do you have any recommendations of other products to do this?

I understood the equaliser was applied to the output stream irrespective of what medium was used.

That's what I thought too, but I cant seem to get it to work when the input is line-in and output is airplay

I'm using a Wiim Pro to stream line-in audio to Airplay speakers with EQ adjustments. However, the EQ settings don't seem to affect the Airplay output. Is this a known limitation, or am I missing something? Any advice or alternative product recommendations would be appreciated.

I checked, but as you say, EQ cannot be used with AirPlay output.

Actually, looking back, I may have noticed that during testing airplay casting…

As I say, I’ll try later and maybe submit a ticket asking that.
